PART-I : Night

Thearrogant

"Would you like some tea?",He (or was it a she) turned to look at me sitting up on my bed, embraced by sheets.Confusion was clearly visible on his (again) face but so was a trace of curiosity.

"Most people don't offer me tea, in fact most people don't see me and the ones who do, run away screaming... Also I don't drink tea." He said, (definitely sounded like a he).

"Well, I guess I am not most people, and yes I can see you and I am sure you were the one who's been leaving murky footprints all over the house, thankfully the others don't seem to notice." He kept looking at me with those black beady eyes of his, quite beautiful. "So...not tea, how about some Tropicana or soda or water?"

"I'll take the juice."

And so we walked towards the kitchen,he was silent (maybe something to do with his image...), for the sake of small talk I started...again, "So.... how come you are here? checking up on me or.....?".

"What makes you think I am here for you?"He asked in that eerily silent voice that you can hear in your bones.

"Well", I answered, " there's nobody here who's close to dying, everybody is so full of life I can imagine them puking rainbows. I am the only one who tried to contact you, without success, but hey, here you are." I finished, picking up the juice box and handing it to him.

"I was just about going around in the neighborhood, you'll know tomorrow, and decided to hop in, and before you ask, NO, I am not taking you with me, It's not yet time."

"Okay then", I sighed,"drop by whenever you are free, but really, clean your shoes or whatever it is that you wear.Oh! and also I hope you realize, I don't care if it's not yet time, I am not going to stop trying."

"And you will not stop failing.", he said,"Good Night", and with that he flew up through the ceiling and out into the night, leaving behind an empty juice box.

"That guy has no manners....at all."
