This is the story of Frye Renova. She is the epitome ''average city girl''.She has friends at her school, teachers don't mind her presence, and her parents dote on her.But she knew from a very young age that she was special. Everybody around her had told her that she could change the world and moreover she knew SHE COULD DO IT. As she grew so did her belief, and she knew the world needed changing. Everywhere she turned there was corruption, people suffering , oppressive regimes all over the world, she knew the world needed a hero. But the more she searched the less she gained, until slowly but surely she began to lose hope.... that is until the stroke of midnight when she turned 18.

It was a pretty uneventful day. Her pessimistic nature helped suck away the extravagance of the eighteenth birthday. But as she lay in bed that night she felt something she couldn't explain, something that she knew from a very young age but something she had lost. She shrugged off her covers and walked out the balcony into the moonlit night. Guided by this rediscovered sense she looked up at the moon and spoke in a tongue only they could understand.

That night she was transformed into a Shadow Walker, wrapped in shadows, tempered by emotions and quenched by the moon. She could now be the hero to the world, the one to defeat the corrupt, the hunter of kings.......And that's exactly what she was going to do.

But as I said this is the STORY of Frye Renova. Yes, she believed she was special, she was tired of the world and on her eighteenth birthday she walked out the balcony into the moonlit night and she wished the dream she had seen every night , the one she wished for every birthday, would be true. But nothing happened. She shed a few silent tears and continued her life. She grew up, she lost to the world and the cycle of Miss Renova continued.
